How does an online vet video consultation work?
Choose a veterinarian, pick a time slot, and pay online — UPI, cards and net banking all work — to book your vet video appointment. At the appointment time, join the video call straight from your browser on any phone or computer; there's no app to install. After the call, the vet's treatment plan appears in your dashboard.
What does the vet's treatment plan include?
After examining your pet on video, your veterinarian issues a written treatment plan covering their assessment, step-by-step care instructions and follow-up advice. In line with veterinary teleconsultation guidance, some things can't be done online — and if your pet needs an in-person examination, your vet will say so clearly.
Are the veterinarians on Vetezy registered?
Yes. Every veterinarian on Vetezy is verified before they can take a single consultation — we check their veterinary council registration and qualifications. You can see each vet's credentials, experience, species they treat, and reviews from pet parents on their profile.
Is an online vet consultation right for an emergency?
It's the fastest way to find out how serious things are. A vet on video can triage your pet in minutes and tell you what to do right now. True emergencies — severe bleeding, suspected poisoning, a swollen or hard belly, collapse — need a physical clinic immediately, and our vets will tell you that honestly and help you decide the fastest next step.
What if the vet doesn't join, or I need to cancel?
If your veterinarian fails to join or the consultation can't proceed because of a verified technical issue, you get a 100% refund. Cancel 24 hours or more before your appointment for a full refund, or between 30 minutes and 24 hours before for a 50% refund. Refunds return to your original payment method in 5–7 business days — the full policy is in our Refunds & Cancellations page.
