Is Vetezy a full-time veterinary job?
No. Vetezy is a platform for independent online practice, not a salaried post. Most vets on Vetezy consult part-time alongside a clinic or field job; some make it their main work. You decide how many hours you open, and you can pause any time.
How much can a vet earn on Vetezy?
You set your own fee per video consultation, anywhere between ₹499 and ₹1,499. Vetezy keeps a commission on each paid consultation and passes the rest to you — there is no joining fee, no subscription and no listing charge, so you only pay when you earn. Every consultation and payout is itemised in your earnings dashboard.
Do I need my own clinic to join?
No. Consultations happen over video in your browser, so a phone or laptop with a camera and a stable internet connection is enough. Many vets on Vetezy also run physical clinics and use online consultations to reach pet parents outside their city.
Who can register as a veterinarian on Vetezy?
Veterinarians registered with the Veterinary Council of India or a State Veterinary Council, holding a BVSc & AH or higher degree. You'll be asked for your registration number and degree during profile setup, and our team verifies them before your profile is listed.
Which animals can I consult for?
You choose the species you treat — dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, farm animals or any combination — and pet parents filter by that. Your profile only receives bookings for the species you have listed.
What happens in an online consultation?
You meet the pet parent on a video call, review the pet's records, photos and reports they have uploaded, discuss the case, and write a treatment plan that appears in their dashboard. Where a physical examination, procedure or emergency care is needed, you advise them to visit a clinic.
How do payouts work?
The pet parent pays online when they book, so you never chase payments. Each completed consultation is credited to your earnings, and settlements are made to the UPI ID or bank account on your profile. The dashboard shows pending and paid amounts consultation by consultation.
How long does verification take?
Our team reviews each profile manually — degree, council registration and supporting documents — and emails you as soon as you are approved. Keeping your documents ready when you register is the fastest way through.
