Vetezy — a Pet Panacea® service · Effective Date: 5 August 2026
If your pet has difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, repeated seizures, collapse, suspected poisoning, severe trauma, urinary obstruction, or any other life-threatening condition, do not book or continue an online consultation. Please seek immediate care at the nearest veterinary hospital.
Online veterinary consultations have inherent limitations. A veterinarian cannot perform a hands-on physical examination, diagnostic testing, or continuously monitor your pet remotely. Recommendations are based solely on the information, medical history, photographs, videos, and other materials you provide during the consultation.
Veterinary medicine is not an exact science. While veterinarians exercise reasonable professional judgment, no diagnosis, treatment recommendation, prescription, or clinical outcome can be guaranteed.
By using Vetezy, you acknowledge that inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or omitted information may affect the quality and accuracy of the veterinary advice provided.
Consultations on Vetezy are provided by independently licensed veterinarians registered under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984. Vetezy is a technology platform that facilitates the scheduling and delivery of teleconsultations between pet owners and independently qualified and registered veterinarians.
Prescriptions and treatment recommendations are issued solely at the consulting veterinarian's professional discretion and only where permitted under applicable law. A veterinarian may decline to diagnose remotely, refuse to prescribe medication, or recommend an in-person examination before providing treatment.
Pet owners remain responsible for monitoring their pet, administering medications as directed, following veterinary instructions, and seeking immediate in-person veterinary care if their pet's condition worsens or emergency signs develop. Owners are responsible for promptly informing the consulting veterinarian of any significant change in their pet's condition and for seeking timely in-person veterinary care when advised.
By booking or joining a consultation through Vetezy, you voluntarily consent to receiving veterinary services via telemedicine.
You understand that telemedicine has inherent limitations because the veterinarian cannot physically examine your pet or perform diagnostic testing remotely. Recommendations are based on the history, photographs, videos, medical records, and other information you provide during the consultation.
The same professional standards of care apply to telemedicine as to in-person consultations. However, depending on your pet's condition, the consulting veterinarian may recommend an in-person examination, diagnostic testing, hospitalization, referral, urgent care, emergency treatment, or follow-up care.
You understand that telemedicine may not be appropriate for every medical condition and that you may choose to seek in-person veterinary care at any time.
By proceeding with the consultation, you acknowledge these limitations and consent to receiving veterinary advice electronically.
Vetezy is operated by Pet Panacea®, an Indian proprietorship.
By accessing or using Vetezy, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Vetezy acts solely as a technology platform connecting pet owners with independently qualified and registered veterinarians authorized to practice under applicable Indian law. You provide veterinary services on Vetezy as an independent professional. Nothing in this Agreement creates a relationship of employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture between you and Pet Panacea. You are not an employee of Vetezy, you are free to practise elsewhere, and you determine your own consultation availability, fees (within the ranges the platform supports) and clinical methods.
You are responsible for your own income tax, professional indemnity insurance, and any registration or renewal fees arising from your practice.
You represent and warrant that you are registered to practise veterinary medicine in India under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, that your registration is current and not suspended, cancelled or subject to any pending disciplinary proceeding, and that you are not otherwise restricted from practising.
You will notify us in writing within seven days if your registration lapses, is suspended or cancelled, or if disciplinary proceedings are commenced against you. We may suspend or remove your profile immediately on becoming aware of any such event.
You are solely responsible for the clinical content of your consultations. This includes your assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, any prescription you issue, and your decision whether a case is suitable for remote consultation at all.
Vetezy provides the technology that connects you with pet owners, together with scheduling, payment and record-keeping tools. Vetezy does not practise veterinary medicine, does not review or approve your clinical decisions, and does not direct or control how you treat a patient.
You will decline or terminate a remote consultation and advise the pet owner to seek in-person care whenever the animal's condition cannot be safely assessed remotely, or where an emergency, a physical examination, a diagnostic procedure, or an urgent intervention is indicated.
You will prescribe only within your competence and within the limits permitted by applicable Indian law and by the standards of the Veterinary Council of India, and you will maintain consultation records through the platform.
You will provide services with the reasonable skill and care expected of a competent registered veterinary practitioner, comply with applicable professional and ethical standards, treat pet owners courteously, and attend confirmed appointments punctually.
You will maintain the confidentiality of pet owner and patient information obtained through the platform, and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the consultation and any necessary follow-up.
Pet owners pay Vetezy for consultations. Vetezy retains a platform commission of 30% of the consultation fee and remits the balance to you in accordance with the payout schedule shown in your dashboard. Commission rates and payout timing may be changed on reasonable prior notice.
Where a consultation is refunded to a pet owner under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the corresponding earning is reversed. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details; we are not liable for payments misdirected because of details you supplied incorrectly.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pet Panacea, its proprietor, and its personnel against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your clinical advice, diagnosis, prescription or omission in a consultation; (b) your breach of this Agreement; (c) any misrepresentation by you as to your registration, qualifications or eligibility to practise; or (d) your breach of applicable law or professional standards.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim arises from Vetezy's own breach of this Agreement or its own negligence.
You may stop offering consultations at any time and may terminate this Agreement on written notice, subject to completing any consultations already confirmed. We may suspend or terminate your access where you breach this Agreement, where your registration lapses or is suspended, where there is a credible complaint of professional misconduct pending investigation, or where required by law.
Sections 3, 6, 8 and 9 survive termination.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Hisar, Haryana, and the language shall be English. This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.
This arbitration provision applies to veterinarians only, in their capacity as independent service providers. It does not apply to pet owners, and nothing in these policies restricts a consumer's right to approach a Consumer Commission.
We may update this Agreement. Where a change is material, we will notify you and ask you to accept the updated version before you continue taking consultations. Continuing to accept consultations after acceptance of an updated version constitutes agreement to it.
For customer support, complaints, or grievance-related matters, please contact the Grievance Officer at the above email address. In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we acknowledge complaints within 48 hours of receipt and endeavour to resolve them within one month.
We may update these policies from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, or our services. The latest version will always be available on this page and will become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
